Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GpAPI (the "Service"), operated by Zyref LLC ("Zyref", "we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company. By creating an account or making a request to the Service, you agree to them.
1. The Service
GpAPI provides programmatic, real-time access to publicly available Google Play data — app details, app reviews, and developer profiles — returned as JSON. The Service is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
2. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all requests made with them. Notify us promptly if a key is compromised; we will rotate it. You must provide accurate account information and be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws that apply to you and your use of the data.
- Do not resell or redistribute raw access to the Service itself (e.g., proxying our API as your own API product). Using the data within your products and analyses is expected and permitted.
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, metering, or security measures.
- You are solely responsible for how you use data obtained through the Service.
4. Pricing and billing
The Service is pay-as-you-go. The default price is $0.004 per successful request (a request returning a 2xx response); failed requests are not charged. Custom per-request pricing and rate limits (RPS) may be agreed per customer based on volume; where a written agreement exists, it takes precedence over the default price. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Evaluation credits are provided at our discretion and may not be redeemed for cash.
5. Rate limits and availability
Each account has a request-per-second limit, set by default or by agreement. We may throttle traffic that exceeds it. The Service is provided without a guaranteed service level unless one is agreed in writing; we work to keep it fast and available but do not warrant uninterrupted operation.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, its software, and documentation. Data returned by the Service originates from public sources; we claim no ownership over it and grant no rights beyond access. Third-party content remains subject to its owners' rights.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Upstream sources may change without notice, which can affect data shape or availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zyref's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create legal risk, or have unpaid balances. On termination, unpaid usage fees remain due.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the developer portal or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
